Healthy Tasmania Neighbour Day Challenge 2021

Neighbour Day, Sunday, 28 March 2021

Neighbour Day is Australia’s annual celebration of community, bringing together people and organisations to grow stronger, well-connected communities.

The theme of Neighbour Day 2021 is ‘Every day is neighbour day – building on the growing movement of people taking neighbourly actions every day of the year’.

Healthy Tasmania is supporting Neighbour Day on 28 March with a community challenge in partnership with Relationships Australia-Tasmania.

The Healthy Tasmania Neighbour Day Challenge encourages people to reach out and create positive meaningful connections with people outside their usual groups and relationships.

People registering a Neighbour Day event can enter for a chance to win up to $1 000 for their community.

Enter the Healthy Tasmania Neighbour Day Challenge by clicking here to register by 15 March 2021 and tell us in 500 words or less:

  1. About your group and planned Neighbour Day event.
  2. How would you spend up to $1000 in your town or neighbourhood to help create social connections and address loneliness in your community?
