Last chance to apply for a Healthy Tasmania Fund grant!

Applications are now closed- Grants up to $200 000 are available for projects or initiatives focussing on reducing smoking, reducing obesity and the levels of overweight Tasmanians or improving healthy eating and/or physical activity.

The State Government’s Healthy Tasmania Fund will provide grant funding to community organisations to improve the health and wellbeing of their communities.

Healthy Tasmania Fund grants will focus on the following areas:

  • reducing smoking
  • reducing obesity and the levels of overweight Tasmanians
  • improving healthy eating and/or physical activity.

Grants up to $200 000 will be available for projects or initiatives up to two years in duration.

To be eligible for funding your organisation must:

  • be an incorporated not-for-profit legal entity, or be sponsored by an incorporated, not-for-profit legal entity (this includes local government)
  • have an office or branch in Tasmania and be proposing to undertake the project in Tasmania.

Applications close at 5:00 pm on 30 August 2019.
